Tide~ Conference, June 2004

This afternoon workshop for teachers and educators looked at how complex issues, in this case development in Africa, can be introduced to participants of varying levels of knowledge and experience.  The activity used participant’s responses to images placed on a map of Africa to stimulate debate.  Each participant chose an image which then became a ‘doorway’ to their ideas and stories.  Find out more about Tide~ at www.tide.org
